Co-Pastor, Bishop Marilyn Smith is a powerful, highly anointed and spirit-filled woman of God. She has spent most of her life in the Church and is the daughter of two of God’s servants, Bishop Lee H.Walsh and Pastor Deserine V. Walsh. Her Christian background is stemmed deeply in the roots of her grandparents Bishop Charles C. Walsh and Christine A. Walsh, who spent their lives pioneering the mission of the gospel in the island of Jamaica, and giving birth to the Shiloh Apostolic Church of Jamaica Inc. in 1942 and numerous others in the United States and Canada.
Bishop Marilyn Smith accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of ten and became highly involved in all areas of church life. At the age of seventeen she was called of God to declare the Word of God and has been obedient to that call ever since.
Over the years Bishop Marilyn Smith has allowed the Holy Spirit to direct her life and has traveled extensively carrying the gospel message both nationally and internationally. She has traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Asia and Caribbean countries attending and conducting workshops, revivals, retreats, seminars and conferences.
She is an ordained minister who has been actively involved in all aspects of Church development and administration.
Bishop Marilyn Smith, is an author in her own rights and prolific speaker, she unashamedly carries the gospel of Jesus Christ as a vessel of honor. Her Christian experience is extensive, stemming from her childhood, serving as a youth leader and speaker- she has evolved into an inspiring and motivating leader, pastoring alongside her spouse. In the grace of her womanhood she balances the role of motherhood, church administrator, counselor, teacher and evangelist.
The Shiloh Apostolic Church Faith Worship Center Inc. was formed and incorporated as a Florida Not-for-profit corporation in August 1993.The organization was formed to assist the community in which it sits by sharing the message of the Love of Jesus Christ to everyone regardless of their class, status, nationality or color.
Shiloh FWC Inc is a branch church of the Shiloh Apostolic Church of Jamaica, Inc, which has over 85 centers in Jamaica, West Indies. Since 1981 the organization has expanded it’s mission to numerous centers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Birth out of a heart of love for every man, Shiloh FWC Inc. deepest desire is to establish a community outreach center that would provide a place of mentoring and offer families support through counseling and Godly guidance, thus creating a strong family-based community with the hopes of reducing the effects of negative influences within the area.
In order to maintain a safe, healthy and secure environment the Shiloh FWC Inc. is committed to assisting in projects that are beneficial to the community by participating in events planned by cities or ecumenical groups within its target area. The reason for the inception and development of this organization is clear as “Shiloh, FWC Inc” continues to pursue its purpose in impacting and changing lives by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
